Wipro Candidate-Experiences

HI friends,This is Sai Prakash from Tirupati(Sree Vidyanikethan Engg. college).

I'm form IT, we  had an campus Drive on

21st of march 2011. The Selection Procedure for WIPRO (wipro technologies) as follows....

1.Written Exam(not an online exam) and an essay
2.Technical Interview
3.HR Interview

1.Written Exam is very easy if u are good at basic...it consits of total 50 marks

a.English--20 maks(synonyms,antynonyms,jumbled words,misspelt,direct n indirect speech,active voice..........etc)

b .Apptitude--20 (percentages,SI & CI,Ratios,patnerships,Train,Time n distance...........RS AGARWAL is more than enough)

c.Technical--10  (c,c++,dbms,unix...)         total --50 marks

No Negative Marks are there......but there is sectional Cutoff..........I think 10 in english,10 in apptitude and 5 in technical....(i think so........)so it is easy to crack........

2.Technical Interview:
                                      I  is major Elimination  Round,so be prepare the basics of our core subject(for CSE background students need completely brush on c,java concepts,dbms)basing up on branch they ask the questions and for me they asked about Mini Proj.,Linked lists (in c),queries(sql),java concepts,and some basic(what is os? what is c? what is dbms? like that).........if you  crack the TR then they will give the form to fill up ur details(if u passed this round 90%  you   will be placed)

3.HR Interview:For me HR started at 10:15 pm(I completed my TR at7:00pm,I had been  waiting from since 8:00Am)

Hr:Come in..take your seat
Me: thank you

Hr:well, your name ......
Me: told

Hr: tell me something about pre-placement talk?
Me: my mind is blank....(i started telling about profile...)

Hr: about vertical and horizontal business( pre-placement talk)
Me: told.....

Hr:why wipro?
Me: told

Hr: why are you not selected in previous companies?????
Me:told

Hr: tell about your collge? and chairman(mohan babu)
Me: told..........

Hr:asked about jasmeeen revolution, white Revolution and some gk........
Me: I said  nothing....

Hr: asked about GSM,CDMA???//
Me:told

Hr: what is c++ access specifiers
Me: told

Hr:why your comm. skill are average.....
Me: told

Hr:what we need to to eradicate the poverty in our country?/
Me:told.....

Hr:what if you are not selected  in wipro??
Me:I said I'm confident...I will definitely will going to placed....

Hr:k, 99% you are going to be placed..what about 1%???
Me:i repeat the same........

Hr: gud night
Me: thank you........

     At last ,I'm awaiting for my result with no anxiety but with confidence because it is my 10 th interview in my college,previously i faced(tcs-written,tech mahindra-written, patni(pcs)-hr,virtusa-written,ADP-written,syntel-written,Convergys-hr,CSS)....Don't loose your hopes at any case be optimistic and don't leave a single chance....try every choices you have..........definitely  a day  is there for u???????(if u try)..............At last..they announced the result,I know that day is mine.........   i'm got selected in wipro(total 68 got selected out of -90 shortlisted)........
