Tech Mahindra test pattern. Expereince shared by a candidate.

I have seen many placement papers over here so this is my contribution towards this wonderful website. Tech Mahindra and Mahindra Satyam had a combined open campus drive in sharda univ, greater noida on 12th feb 2011.

 

Procedure was of three stage:

1. Online written exam(Aptitude & English)
2. Technical Interview
3. Hr Interview

The process was full of hustle bustle and a badly managed drive, all due to the people who conducted it. Everyone was called at 9 am and there was no criteria as to who will first appear in the online exam. Computers were scarce and it took nearly 6 Hours for me to appear in online exam. Some people were done with it in 2 hours too.

online exam was easy. there were two papers of 40 mins each. aptitude and then english. Exam was easy and if you have even scored 70 percentile in CAT, you can crack this exam easily. result was announced in like half an hour.

Technical interview was also not very tough. But as i said it was an ill managed drive, so my technical took place after 9 hours of wait. They were asking programs like to reverse the string. Then what is your specialized area, they were asking mainly from it. But many people were rejected in this round. He went on to ask many things like current headlines of newspaper and about recent developments in various fronts. Many HR questions were there in this round with technical too.

Then there was Hr round. Mine was a bit lengthy like for 10 mins. But many people were asked only one question n were told to wait. I think most were selected in Hr round.
Finally i was selected.. Thanks to the lord.
