Tech Mahindra drive on January 3rd, 2014 in Hyderabad I attended Noon Batch
 
Tech Mahindra first round of selection procedure was on line aptitude and verbal ability test The test pattern was
 
Number of Questions :170
Time limit :80
No Negative mark
No of Sections:11
 
Tech Mahindra  On line test Topics asked were.
 
Articles, Prepositions, parts of speech, Sentence correction, synonyms, word analogy, Subject object verb.
 
Non Verbal reasoning, Coding and decoding, Blood relations, Letter analogy, number series, direction sense.
 
Work and Time, Simple and Compound interest, percentages, Ratio and Proportion. Ages.
 
Tech Mahindra Essay Writing
 
Then we had essay writing test. Topics were "does luck play an important role in your life?" and "do we have to study our past?".
 
We were asked to write 4-5 sentences.
 
Then we were given a form. The essay and other certificates we attached to the form and submitted. This is not an elimination round.
 
Tech Mahindra Tech and HR round
 
Then I had tech+hr round together. Some had them as two different rounds.
 
It was one to two panel. One was from technical department and the other was HR.
 
The interviewer asked me about my project.
 
I was a 2012 pass out so they asked me what I did in the last one year.
 
I was asked if I wrote any micro processor programming (I'm from ECE).
 
Why software field after ECE?
 
We discussed about the essay I wrote.
 
Questions like who is the PM, president, IT minister etc were asked.
 
And there were few general questions. Are you ready to relocate? are you ready to join immediately? etc etc.
 
The results were announced at 5 pm. Felt very happy that I got selected. They told that they'd sent the offer letter in a week or two.
 
I got the letter in less than a week. Joining very soon.
