Hey friends, I recently appeared for Tech Mahindra on 3rd and 4th September,2015 campus drive conducted in my college.It was truly an amazing experience.
The selection procedure consisted of the following rounds:
1.Aptitude and Essay
The most important and challenging round of Tech Mahindra would be the aptitude round.It consisted of 130 questions to be solved in 80 minutes.Management of Time and accuracy is the key to clear this round.It consisted of various sections-Comprehension,Grammar,Logical reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.Maximum marks are allotted to English section.Out of about 300 students only 38 cleared the aptitude round.So now you know it isn't a cakewalk. The one's who cleared this round had to write an essay of as many words as possible in 10 minutes.The topics were like Education in India,My dream destination,One thing i would like to change about myself{my topic}and also My best friend!!!So its again the time factor that plays a major role.Essay round 2 people could not make it. The remaining 36 were called the next day for Technical and HR round.
2. Technical and HR round
In technical round since i am from Mechanical i was not asked much related to IT.Basic questions relating to my field were asked.Also they were asking about my project. HR round questions were related to hobbies and interests.They are friendly and make us comfortable so nothing to worry. Out of 36, 23 were selected and I feel lucky to be one of them! Waiting to join the company.
