Tech Mahindra campus recruitment drive procedure 2014 Tech Mahindra new latest placement papers interview procedure
Hi friends I attended Tech Mahindra campus drive on 22 January 2014 Now I am sharing my personal experience which might be useful to others.
Tech Mahindra recruitment first section was written test - This is the important and major part in the selection process
Written exam consists of 2 parts consisting of 170 questions which should be completed in 80 minutes.
The cut off is 60% and you should score at-least 60 in English and 42 in aptitude for clearing the written test.
Tech Mahindra Frist section Written test :Aptitude comprising of 15 questions from quant and 55 from reasoning both verbal and non verbal.
Major topics in quant are simple and compound interest, partnership, profit and loss, time and distance, percentages, clocks, calendars, ages.
Topics in reasoning are letter series, number series, analogies, relation between words, blood relations, odd man out, coding and decoding, series of figures.
Tech Mahindra Second section Written test : English consisting of 100 questions.
Major topics in English are articles, prepositions, sentence correction, subject-verb agreement, synonyms, analogy and remaining topics you can clear easily based on your preparation for above topics.
Prepare well in the above mentioned topics and practice test papers.
As of me it is better to answer English first as quickly as possible. I completed in 30-35 minutes. Don't worry English will be so simple to answer but you should practice well.
Next it is better to move onto reasoning as it can be answered quickly compared to quant. Try to answer all the questions and then quant. I completed reasoning in 30 minutes. Then I have spent remaining time in solving quant.
Prepare well in English and solve reasoning with full attention towards it.

Then about written essay I said my opinion and justified it for the topic "people are talented in big cities or small cities".
Some questions to check your logical thinking.
Your opinions on some general issues I was asked about corruption,
My achievements, whats the news around world, current Indian issues.
Few of my friends were asked about basics of core subjects.
For ECE about OSI model, flip flops, differences between micro controllers and micro processors.
And some other questions to my friends are
tell me about yourself,
where will you see yourself I 5 years,
why do you want to join in Tech Mahindra.
Out of 270 students who attended drive 92 cleared written and finally 52 got selected.
Be confident and express your answers fluently, confidently and should be good in English.
That's it.
