I am Sambit, from KIIT University. TCS came to our college on 15-12-2010. They conduct selection process per each round. There is 3 rounds.

1.  Alok and Bhanu play the following min-max game. Given the expression N=40+X+Y-Z, where X, Y and Z are variables representing single digits (0 to 9),Alok would like to maximize N while Bhanu would like to minimize it. 9.      Alok is attending a workshop ‘How to do more with less’ and today’s theme is Working with fever digits. The problem posed at the end of the workshop is ‘How many 10 digit numbers can be formed using the digits 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (but with repetition) that are divisible by 4?’ Can you help Alok find the answer?

If the speed of Mohit’s Mercedes is 40 Km/hr and the distance traveled by the Ferrari is 913 Km, find the total time taken for Rohit to drive the distance.

25.  The dynamics of crowd behaviour are hard to study because usually people are not reliable witness of their own behaviour. Now consider 4 people standing in the queue of a supermarket. You want to predict their behaviour based on their age group. You get to know fro the supermarket records that their average age 3 years ago was 48 years. After a while, another person joins the queue and the present average of all the 5 is 46 years. The present age of the last person in the queue is:

Hr: Tell me about yourself.
Me: Told

Hr:  U r a electrical enggg?
Me: Yes sir.

Hr: Wat is an Induction motor?
Me: told

Hr: Your fav. Subject?
Me: Power system.

Then he keep on asking 2-3 question from power system.

Hr: Why TCS?
Me: told

Hr: Thnk u.
Me: Thnk u sir.

Result was declared at 2:00 AM. 658 students were selected and I was among them.
