TCS Interiew Experience

Hey, 
This is Saran from Thiagarajar College Of Engineering, Madurai. I am very happy to share my TCS interview experience with you all. TCS came to our college on (31-08-2014) to (02-09-2014).

Round 1:

1. VERBAL ABILITY: Write an email to the Branch Manager regarding lost ATM Card with the given keywords in max of 10 minutes.

2. ANALYTICAL ABILITY:

Total no of questions: 30

Nearly 10 questions are from previous year papers and model question paper on campus commune. Others questions were mostly from time and work, permutations, combinations, probability, mixtures, proportions, simple geometry, and some problems from AP, GP.

Round 2:

INTERVIEW: There is no separate Technical and HR interview. My interview was combination of both tech and HR. Totally 3 members were there in my panel.

• They started with much expected question Introduce yourself.

• Tell about your family.

• Then they concentrate more on my project and my contributions in the project and status of on-going project.

• My area of interest is RDBMS. But they asked basics on all topics.

• Tell me about HTML5.

• Best website and Worst website in design. Why?

• Favorite subjects? • Why you like RDMS?

• Tell me all normalization concepts.

• Given a problem with amount received, no of years, rate of interest and asked to find principle. Write algorithm for this.

• What do you think about working in Team?

• What will you do when your friend doesn’t work?

• Strengths?

• Weakness?

• Will you work in Lucknow?

• Any questions?

SUGGESTIONS :

1. Try to use all the given words in given order for VERBAL ABILITY.
2. Don't try to attend all questions in ANALYTICAL ABILITY.
3. Be sure about things you mention in Resume and Area of interest.
4. Also concentrate on basics of all other topics.
