Hey guys,

I am a doin Electronics n comm engg from Bharti Vidyapeeth's college of engg, New Delhi.
I had gone through TCS campus recruitment last week n got selected..
This is how it was...
 
1)  Written Round :
        3 sections: a) verbal ability(vocab and comprehension) -  there was no sectional cut off... a bit tough, dont get nervous jus attempt all ques.
                         b) Aptitude -  quite easy ques on maths n simpl reasonin, data sufficiency, etc... need not study nethn for this... u'd clear dis easily.
                        c)  Critical Reasoning - There r 250 ques givin in book barons... jus do those n ur written is over...
 
2) Technical Intervies:
  Luk guys the only thing TCS ppl r lukin for is ur positiv attitude....
  So u know any ans or not, jus dont get nervous. Tell them "I dont kno Sir/Ma'am"...
  Ques i askd wer related to Software Engg, Communication Systems, C++
  Others wer asked about digital circuits and systems, DBMS, OS, etc..
  But nothing in a greater detail than u already know.. so dont worry TCS interview is a fun thing...
  In ur CV, write only wat u know and can explain..... Software Engg is quite important...
  Always bear in mind that u dont need to hav capability, u need to b useful...
  So bring out ur positiv in ur interview... study d company profile properly...
  And rembr u dont hav nethng to lose, only to gain...jus b confident...
 
3) HR and MR:
  Well though techincally HR and MR r diffrnt, but in case of TCS they r quite similar...
   I had these two together...
   As in case of tech, here also u dont need to worry... jus go there, be positive, n hav fun...
  they'll ask u ques lyk : tell abt urslf, y tcs, y IT company, ur strengths, ur weakness( tell sumthng dat inturn brings out ur positive, like i said dat i get impatient to c d work not done properly, i also said rich food is my weakness. HR was quite ammused to hear dat),qualities of a leader, how can u motivate ur subordinates, etc...
 
Beware... they may ask u tech ques in HR or MR also... so dont get frightened... jus relax n do wat they ask for... As i said they r not lookin for sum1 who is exceptionally tallented, they r lukin for sum1 who is useful to them, n confident to carry out proprely d work assigned...
 
Rember dat u cannot improve ur tech knoledge in a given day, but u can atleast carry u positive attitude... n dat is all dat matters atleast in companies lyk TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, etc.... so jus chill out n relax.. ull b selected......
