Hi,

I am Ankit Dhir, from SKIT, Jaipur. TCS came to our college on 19-12-2010. They conduct selection process per each round. There is 4 rounds

1) Aptitude test.
2) Technical round
3) MR (for some student they take MR with Technical round and for some student they take separate MR round )
4) HR (they take GD in HR round)

Before going to the TCS Aptitude test read the previous question from fresherworld.com and take sample test on https://openseesame.tcs.com You can cover all question from these sources. Out of 35 question you can't find any of question other then this.

Aptitude test consists 35 questions, 80 mins, online test.

Here I'm discussing Interview rounds

For technical round be aware of basic funds of your core subjects and C, C++ and your project. If you crack the both aptitude & technical round you are 90% selected.


In HR They take Group discussion.

The frequently asked question in technical Round which asked in our college to my friends are:
1) C language (dsa based question)
*  Stack related question and also prepare with c implementation of stack having pop and push operation.
*  Queue implementation
*  Link List
*  Binary search tree
*  Best searching algorithm (BST) and there program
*  Best sorting algo (Quick Sort) and there program

2)  Java (oops concept)
*  Overloading
*  Overriding
*  Polymorphism
*  Inheritance
*  Database connectivity, they can also asked you to write program to explain db connectivity

3) Software Engineering
*  SDLC
*  SWDLC
*  Testing

4) Computer Network
*  OSI model
*  TCP/IP Model
*  What is port Number
*  What is protocols
