Hello Everybody,
This is Subhashree Sahoo(06-10) from CVRCE, Bhubaneswar with Mechanical Engineering as background. I got through TCS through the off-campus drive from the East Zone. So don't worry if your col isnt listed in the list as you can directly log-in though company's main portal. We gave an online exam conducted by TCS's own created web page called Touchstone. Around 2000 students appeared in the 1st phase out of which 350 cleared. The exam consisited of 35 questions in 1hour with Negative marking of 0.33 for wrong answers. So please be cautious about it.
The questions were basically long tricky puzzles but they were easy if you catch a single clue in it.
they are long but easy. please go through the basics of fundamendals of maths and apply there, the expected cut off is 20 correct ones out of 30. So please avoid doing negatives. After that they make you fill TCS employees form for which you need to be cautiously correct as they throw questions from that only the interview was very cool and easy.
They did touch mechie questions and also some basics of C, C++, RDBMS and Data Structure. So no need to worry about computer subjects on an average the interview was cool and nice. They declared the result the next day and luckily i was selected out of 150.
