Aptitude Test
Most important phase for the any selection procedure because the filtering rate is too high.
In ADIT also they have selected 21 only from 120 students.
For this preparation you can refer R.S.agrawal book.
Most important chapters From that book is:
Time and Distance, Time and work, Pipes and Cisterns , Problems on trains , Percentage , Profit & loss, Problems on ages , Series problems
And also go through the placement papers of the respective company that is coming for the placement.

Technical Interview
M –Good Afternoon sir
I:- Good Afternoon nevil
I- so hows your day till now.
M-Sir,Its pretty fine till now and if you will select me than it will be fantastic day for me.
I- lets check out your caliber.
I-Tell me about yourself.
M- I have told about me.
I also told that my role model is Rahul Dravid then he asked me about his birthday. I said Confidently that it is 11th july,1973.
He tried to cross check me by saying that you have said wrong date. Than he searched on google also and said me that you are really knowing about him.
Just stick to your answer, he will try to cross check you that you are confident or not.
I- tell me your favorite Subjects
M- Object oriented programming using java
I- tell me another core subject
M- DBMS
I- R you sure na??I will ask you from this subjects only and if you will not able to answer me than you will be out.
M - ok sir.
I- tell me 5 database software’s
M- Microsoft sql server, MY sql, Sybase, Oracle, Ms Access
I- very good. Tell me about the main 3 statements of sql
M- Sir its DDL,DML,DCL. also i explained the functionalities of each.
I- Difference between function and procedure
M - Sir Function returns 1 value and procedure can return more than 1 values.
I- he asks about outer join query and different ways to implement outer join
M- i have explained it correctly.
I- tell me about Self join
M- I dont know sir.
I- ok .
If you are not knowing any answer than you can say i dont know.But Dont Lie.
I- tell me about triggers
M- I said i am knowing only concept(Not implementation)
I-Ok explain us
M-Explained him.
I- You are knowing everything about DBMS.lets switch to JAVA.
I- tell me the specific topic from which only i will ask you the question.(He gave me such a liberty)
M- Sir Exception Handling
I- Ok tell me superclass of that. this point i got nervousness because I am not knowing this.
I- 2 methods to implement it
M- try/catch & using throws keyword.
I- Ok tell me about finally
M- Explained him completly
I- U have any questions to ask me
M- Sir s/w development is not tangible process cant track progress of it.So how are you just providing certainity to the customers??

My technical interview went very good that’s why they skipped my hr round.I had directly sent to the MR round.

I - You have unique name.whats meaning of that name and why u got this name.
M - Explained
I- have you got any advantage by having unique name
M- It will just impress to others bt rest will depend on your own calibre.
- Do you think that your name impressed me
M- yes sir.Thats why you are taking interest in it
I- Nice articulation.
I- tell me about your strengths
M- Said and Also gave 1 real life example as he asked. (He was trying to transfer my strength into weakness)
I- you willing to relocate anywhere
M -yes because I am not having home sickness.
Why should i select you
M- I told about my strengths, My project work (Try to convince him because it is the most imp. question)
I-Why tcs, not any other?? Why not me, masters???
M- I explained him.
I- today tcs is going fine. hats why you are joining it. Tell me 3 some reasons that you will leave Tcs after some years?? (He was forcing me to tell this 3 reasons.)
M- (1)Sir if after getting my experience if you will not offer me promotion or pay hike than I will think about leaving tcs. (2)Sir if after getting my experience if you will not provide me opportunity to work on versatile projects, Than also I will think about leaving tcs.
I- if this not happens than you will remain with tcs forever na.
M- yes sir.
I - so do you think that you will get selected by us today??
M- yes sir Im sure.. Because I had a very nice technical interview before it.
i- If I will reject you than what will you do?
M- Sir I will not get frustrate and try to take next opportunity with double hard work.
I- What went wrong in this interview??
M- Sir I was not able to speak very fluently.
I- How are y ou improving on that??
M- sir I had started to talk in English with 1 of my friend on phone daily.
