Sikkim PSC Under Secretary (Mains) Exam Pattern & Syllabus
Sikkim Public service Commission (PSC) will conduct a Written exam (Mains) for recruitment in the junior grade of Sikkim State Civil Service as Under Secretary and equivalent on temporary regular basis. Here we are providing the latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern of Under Secretary (Mains) Exam conducting by Sikkim PSC.
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for Under Secretary written Exam (Mains) is as Follows:-
⺠The written examination shall include two compulsory subject and two Optional Subject out of the 50 subjects.

Paper I Current Affairs & Analytical Ability
Paper II General English
Paper III Optional Subject-I
Paper IV Optional Subject-II
⺠There will also be a Viva-Voce/Interview of 100 marks after written exam.

3. Sikkim-Socio-Economic, Culture, Environment and developmental perspectives.
4. Analytical Ability and Logical reasoning.

1. Comprehension
2. Composition & Grammar
3. Essay
Paper III & Paper IV-List of optional subjects for Main Examination

(e) Agriculture and Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science.
(f) Management and Public Administration;
(g) Of the Engineering subjects, viz., Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering ânot more than one subject.
(h) Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science and Medical Science.
(i)Out of literature subjects viz. Hindi, Nepali & English not more than one subject is allowed.
