MPSC Exam Syllabus 2014-15
Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) will conduct a Written exam for recruitment of Executive Officer (EO) and Assistant Executive Officer (AEO) in the Municipal Administration, Housing & Urban Development (MAHUD),Government of Manipur. So, here we are providing the latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern of Executive Officer Exam conducting by Manipur PSC.
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for Executive Officer written Exam is as Follows :-
⺠The written test will be multiple choice/objective type.
⺠Each question paper consist of 200 questions of 300 marks.
⺠The time duration will be 03:00 hours (180 minutes).
⺠There will also be a Personality Test of 50 marks.

â History of India and Indian National Movement
â Indian and World Geography
â Indian Polity and Economy
â General Mental Ability
â The Manipur Municipality Act,1994
â The Manipur Municipality Community Participation (Election of Ward Development Committee Members) Rules, 2010
â Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1986.
âºQuestions on General Science will cover general appreciation and understanding of science including matters of everyday observation and experience, as may be expected of a well-educated person who has not made a special study of any particular scientific discipline.
âºIn current events, knowledge of significant national and international events will be tested.
âºIn History of India, emphasis will be on broad general understanding of the subject in its social, economic and political aspects.
âºQuestions on the Indian National Movement will relate to the nature and character of the nineteenth century resurgence, growth of nationalism and attainment of Independence.
âºIn Geography, emphasis will be on Geography of India. Questions on the Geography of India will relate to physical, social and economic Geography of the country, including the main features of Indian agricultural and natural resources.
âºQuestions on Indian Polity and Economy will test knowledge of the countryâs political system and Constitution of India, Panchayati Raj, Social Systems and economic developments in India.
âºOn general mental ability, the candidates will be tested on reasoning and analytical abilities.
âºQuestions on The Manipur Municipality Act,1994, the Manipur Municipality Community Participation (Election of Ward Development Committee Members) Rules, 2010 and Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1986 will test knowledge of the Act and Rules.
