L&T INFOTECH PAPER ON 7th MARCH
L and T infotech came for 2008 batch(3rd yr. students were called)!(in Raj.) on March 7 & 8,07.
around 4000+ students appeared in the open campus!
Eligibility- 60% in BE/BTech.,10 and 12th,with no live backlogs(in the past too,no backlogs more than 4 were allowed, even if they were cleared later)
1st day-
There were 3 sets of the written question paper, each paper contained 90 questions (3 sets contained different questions of different difficulty level and probably had different cut off's!!!!)
Section wise Break up-(each section had 30 questions)
1)Maths-General,one should go for RS Agarwal,students prep. for CAT entrance exam wud find it easier!!!!
2)LR-it was ok!!!!
3)English-This section was tough in my set, it comprised of passage, word meanings, analogies etc.
$$Though i don't know the cut off's!!!cut off's were high because only 204 students were selected for the next round!!!
GD-
It was conducted first day itself!!!
Some of the topics for GD were--Is Indian Educational system wrong??
-Future of IT sector in India??
-other topics were mostly related to politics n engineers!!!!!
$$ 104 students were selected for the next round!!!!!
2nd day-
PI and HR were together-
they asked about family background, some query regarding ur academic performance,
I WAS ASKED ABOUT MY FAMILY AND MY FUTURE GOAL!!!!!!it was moreover a formality!!!!!!!
Finally out of 4000+ students, around 65 were selected, and i was fortunate enough to be one of them!!!!!!!
My adive is the major hurdle is the first round, if u manage to clear it, rest is easy!!!! they perfer candidates with fluency in spoken English........
