LnT-Infotech Interview Experience
Hello friends,
I am Pratik from E&TC stream. I apperead through a off campus drive of L&T Infotech at Pune. There were total 5 Rounds in selection procedure:
1.Aptitude
2.Group Discussion
3.Paragraph Writing(Not an elimination round)
4.Technical Interview
5.HR Interview
1.Aptitude: Total 3 sections Quant - average ( Percentage, Number System, Time and Work, Mixture, Age, Average, probability, permutation & combination) Reasoning - easy (Syllogism, mirror image, DI, Number & letter series, statement and conclusion, blood relation) Verbal - Quite tough ( complete the sentence, synonyms, antonyms, spot the errors, selecting words, RC) - prepare well for synonyms and spotting the errors.
2. Group Discussion: We were 12 people in a group. to get through this round, guys just speak. They eliminate very less people from this round so please Speak with correct grammar and you will be selected. Topics for GD are very common topics. Read newspapers, Current affairs and it will be more than enough.
3. Paragraph Writing: It's not an elimination round but they check it in HR interview. Just make sure that your grammar is correct.
4. Technical Interview: My TI started with some casual questions and then he asked me some puzzles like
a) You have given an Apple, a jar with water in it and you have to measure the weight of apple but you don't have anything like weighing machine to measure the weight, How will you measure the weight of that Apple?
b) You have to make 8 equal pieces of a cake with just 3 cuts. How will you do it?
I was lucky enough to give the correct solutions and he was quite impressed with that. Then he asked me about OOPs concepts then asked me to explain inheritance with an example. I did it then some questions and programming on C. Up till now only 50% interview was completed, next 50% interview was on my BE project. Guys, study your project in depth, study each and every component or method you have used in your project be ready with some limitations and their solutions.
5. HR Interview: It was the best part of the whole selection procedure. HRs are very cool people. They will make you feel completely relaxed. Be prepared for some questions like:
a) Introduce yourself
b) Strength and Weakness
c) Biggest failure
d)Why do you want to join an IT company
e)why L&T Infotech
It will be great, if you have some knowledge about the company. So, please read about the products, services, offices, press releases etc. Finally, want to say only one thing - Consider this as the only opportunity and put your all energy, efforts and be confident, you will get selected. :)
