INFOSYS PAPER ON 17TH MARCH,2008 

Infosys came to our college on 17th Mar 2008 .............................it was a pooled drive ...............
Our reporting time was at 9:00 am and a PPT was held thereafter for 1hr. .............
after that we went to our respective rooms 4 the written test........
First they gave us an application form to fill all details ...............
and after that our test started.. The reasoning was easy but the verbal ability was bit tough and if u have a thorough knowledge in ur grammar u can easily score the cutoff...........
As 4 every Infy paper there was a sectional cut-off .............
setion-I was reasoning part................consits of...........30 question time 40min....
and section-II was of 40 question-->>35min................
For both the section R.S.Aggarwal is sufficient and if u can solve some of the puzzle from Edgar Thorpe its well and good...........

Our written got over at 12:30 and after 2 hrs our result was declared .............only 38 got selected in written out of 280.....
And soon after that within 15min our PI started.............
mostly all Pi was HR type................
My turn came at 6:00pm...........
ME:May I come in Sir.
HR: Yes.
ME:good evening sir ........
HR:Good evening .....
HR:Have a seat.....
ME:thank you sir.
HR:Give me ur CV.
HR:he gave me a topic and ask me to speak on it...for 2 min..
ME:done
HR:what does ur father do..???
ME:replied.
HR:what r u hobbies.....
ME:replied......
HR:resently which news has touched ur heart.....
ME:replied..
HR:ok Ansuman now solve this puzzle.....
ME:done.
HR:Now do this.......
I was in midway he ask me to stop........
Mind it they only look at ur approach not 4 the answers.
HR:This is a situation read this loud and asnswer it.....
ME:done.
HR:very good.....
HR:ok here is another situation......
ME:done....
HR:why software......?????
ME:replied.
HR:good..
HR:now ask If u have any question..????
Dont let this oppurtunity go out of ur hand.......Its ur golden chance.....
ME:What extra course do I need to do before joining Infosys.
Ask such type of question which shows ur interest in the company.....
HR:There is no need for this . UR training is sufficient enough.....
ME:Sir what r the future projects of infy....?????
HR:he kindly replied to my question .......
HR:ok Ansuman u may wait outside......
ME:thank you sir....and have a nice eve ahead.
HR:thank you.

After half an hour or result was announced and 34 out of 38 was finally selected in the second round.. I was one of them.................
