INFOSYS PAPER ON 24TH JUNE,2008

Hi, This is jyothi. I would like to share my experience with you. We had infosys drive in our college on 24th june,2008. around 900 freshers attended for written test . from that lump sum 37 got through written and finally 24 got selected.
We all know that Infosys filter students in 2 steps.
1.written test
2.hr interview

Written test consists
1.rat (reasoning ability test, 30 qs, 40 mins)
2.vat (verbal,40qs,35 mins)

Be thorough with r.s.aggarwal (verbal and non verbal reasoning) and refer any grammar book containing basic grammar.

My interview went like this.
Me: good evening sir.
Sir: very good evening, please get in and have your seat.
Me: thank u sir.
Sir gave the application form which we had filled  before the  test.
Then he asked me some general questions about me but thank GOD,  he  didn’t asked me the deadly question “introduce yourself “.
Be prepared they will ask about  each and every word in your cv. Be honest while answering.
Sir: can u speak about the present deadliest problem  “global warming” for 2 mins.
Me: blah blah……….
Sir: what r u doing to improve your technical skills in programming languages.
Me: blah blah……….
Sir: as a team leader have u undergone any problems ? and what  have u done to overcome them? (as I have mentioned in my cv that I am an active leader).

I  gave some examples.
Then he gave me a puzzle  and after that he gave me a situation  and  asked about how I will react  in that situation.
That’s it .
After 20 mins talk the my interviewer  I came out.
Then after  two hours results were announced. I felt very happy and I thanked God because  I was one among the 24 students who got selected.
Be confident. Be honest. Believe in GOD. Believe in yourself.
