Hello friends, 
I am Sai Murali from RGUKT,RK VALLEY(IIIT). I want to share my debut interview experience.Infosys visited our  campus on 18th and 19th of Dec 2013.It is the first company visit to  our campus & i am the first one, sharing interview experience from our campus,

The eligibility criteria were:

1. 70% from X and XII
2. 70% OR 7.5 cgpa in Engineering.
3. No active backlogs

Total no of students appeared for written test : 435 (CSE & ECE)
Written test consists of  Analytical reasoning & Verbal reasoning

Analytical reasoning(30Q-40Min) & no -ve

    It consists of Picture series(5Q),not so easy
    Blood Relations(5Q),very easy
    Syllogism(5Q),Very easy
    Data Sufficiency(5Q),Very easy
    Data interpretation(5Q),easy
     Small passage(5Q),Very easy

    over all it is very easy test. if we get atleast 18 we can clear this one.

Verbal Reasoning(40Q-35Min) & no -ve
     It consists of Two  passages(small(difficult to understand),big(easy,if we read))(10 Q)
       Correcting Setences(20Q).finding gramatical mistakes
       Fill in the blanks(5Q)
       Theme Detection(5Q)
    Verbal ability is little tough. You have to be fast to read and analyze sentences.if we get atleast    20,we can clear this one.

Written Test Results announced on the same day itself(18th) at 6 PM.
Total no of students cleared written test: 85

Next day(19th) they conducted interview.Interview process is started at 9:30am. I had waited for a long time. My turn came around 3:30 pm.

ME : May I come in Sir?
TR : (smiled) ya come.can u please close the door
ME :sure sir..
ME  :Good morning sir
TR : Very good morning (smile)..You sit down.
TR : Tell me about yourself?
ME : told.

TR : Tell me about your internship project.
ME : Told.

TR : what exactly u have done in u r proj?
ME : Unlimitted scrolling(as in Facebook) using ajax ,Discussion board,sending email to users blah...blah...

TR : What is Unlimitted Scrolling ?can you explain the approach?
ME : I exaplained everything ...not only approach but also code (He was very much impressed...)

He scanned each and every point in my resume and asked  lot of question on project.
TR : write database diagrams for all three projects,explain key relations among them ?
ME : I explained him

TR : What is Foreign key,where do we use it?
ME : Told?

TR : Asked some Questions on Servlets,JSP(as i have used them in my proj).
ME : Told

TR : Why infosys?
ME : Told
TR : You have good academic record,great technical knowledge,lot of other companies are there,which give higher package than infosys.what is the guarentee that u definitely join in infosys?
ME : Told  answer with an example(he was very much impressed..)
TR : Have you given any presentations,what r the things that u keep in mind while preparing for the presentation?.
ME : Told (impressed)
TR : Asked about MVC design pattern?
ME : Told
TR : Do you have any questions?.
ME : all my doubts cleared in pre placement talk sir...i asked about his current position(in polite way).
TR : sorry, i didn't tell about me right...so i am...project lead..
TR: Why u want ask this question?
ME:now i know who interviewed me sir...if my frnds ask me who interviewed me rather than saying someone else...now i can say...

TR: Thank you very much..
Me: Thank you sir ...

Results were announced on the same day at 10:45 PM.
Total no of students cleared intervew: 69
I am one among them..

I HAVE LEARNT THAT IF YOU CLEAR THE WRITTEN EXAM IN INFOSYS YOUR POSSIBILITY TO GET AN OFFER IS 80%.

SO TRY TO GIVE EMPHASIS ON REASONING PART AND CLEAR THE SECTIONAL CUTOFF.
