Hi Guys,
This is Karthik from Jeppiaar Engg College. I just attended my placement with Infosys.
The written exam had two sections.
Section- I
Non verbal Reasoning: 30 marks (40 mins)
Here time managemnt is very important, most of the type of questions were from R.S. Aggarwal. puzzle type(most important),direction questions which is solved by using pythagores theorem, data interpretation were also asked. Each one had 5 questions and them. So its very important to be thorough in these areas, so that we can get 15 marks and easily clear it.
Verbal Reasoning: 40 marks (30 mins)
Here also time management is very important, 10 marks were from comprehension 5 individual questions from 5 paragraphs were also asked. So totally 15 questions were from comprehension.
Fill in the blanks was also asked 7 questions were asked for finding the correct sentence from 4 sentences. It was very tidious.
Most of the filtering was from this part care must be taken and verbal reasoning.
HR round was very easy as expected once you clear written then you are almost in they were very friendly and asked more from resume only. So we need to be careful in that part.
I did well and got selected.
