1.REASONING ABILITY--30 QUESTION IN 40 MINUTES
2.VERBAL ABILITY---40 QUESTION IN 35 MINUTE

2.R.S AGARWAL-- QUANT APTI FOR DATA INTERPRETATION
3. FOR ENGLISH PORTION IF U R NOT CONFIDENT THEN U CAN REFER BOOK NAMED HARI PRASAD MOHAN, WELL IT IS VERY HELPFUL FOR PRACTICE PURPOSE.
Ya coming to main point the first question arise in your mind is how I prepare so that I got an selection.?
Infosys pattern is not so tough ,if u r an average student then u can easily qualify the written paper. But the main hurdle is time factor, try to solve the questions as fast as u can but donât guess until u have time. As there is no negative marking so attempt all the questions, donât leave any question, the cutoff is quite high so try to solve the questions correctly both sections individual cutoff counts so give emphasis on both the section ,for your selection at least 55-60 per questions should be correct (17-18 in reasoning and 25-27 in English portion)
In my case the questions came from following topics.
Reasoning
1. Puzzle( plz practice all the 7 type puzzle given in rs agarwal verbal non verbal donât neglect any type given, in my case one puzzle is of arrangement ( very easy) and other is type 7 jumpled up sentences (very tough n lengthy).
Total 10 questions in 2 puzzle.( 5-5 each)
2. 5 ques on Data sufficiency (very easy)
3. 5 questions on Syllogism again very easy.
4. 5 questions on data interpretation (lengthy one I have not solved it, just guessed it)
5. Odd one out ( do the classification exercise given in rs agarwal it is sufficient for it)
English portion:
2 passages very lengthy but very easy I have given last 10 minutes for it. Some question asked on theme detection, finding error from given sentences, fill in the blanks. If your English is good then u have great chances of selection if not then donât worry u just have to follow basic grammar rules and do a little practice so that u can do the questions in given time.
HR Interview
For your hr interview the first thing u do is dressed yourself properly ,all the interviewerâs are experienced people they r trying to see an future infoscian in u so donât neglect it.
In my hr interview I have asked questions like tell me about yourself, hobbies, why infosys,
They have given 2 easy puzzle I have solved it, the main thing is your confidence if u r confident then they will surely take u also the interview round is the selection round from my college 20 have cleared written n 18 got an final selection.
After waiting for 2-3 hours around 9:30 pm they have started announcing the name of finally selected student, before announcing they have already told 18 students got selected from our college. All of us have crossed our finger one by one names r going to be announced n I just waiting when my turn will come,17 names were called and on 18 they have asked whose date of birth is in JUNE â OH GODâ I have told SIR my ,they told MAYANK SHARMA I told âYES SIRâ U got selected MAYANK
At that wht I m feeling I cant express firstly I have thanked to god and to all my well wishers. I also want to thnx freshers world as it helped a lot.
