I want to share my IBM experience with you.Iam perusing Iv/Iv BTech ECE. I have attended IBM campus drive on 27 jan 2014.
The process includes
1.Aptitude
2.verbal Assessment
3.Interview
The process starts with the verification of documents, students having more than 70% are allowed to take the first round of the interview process.
IBM Written test pattern and procedure
It comprises of two sections
1.Number series
2.General Aptitude
A total of 36 questions. 18 from series and 18 from aptitude. For each question you have a timer of 2.15 min. no need of tension frnds it is enough time to answer the question just be cool and answer it confidently.
It is very easy just practice previous papers of IBM.You can easily crack it. For number series practice previous questions and for aptitude no need of all the topics. Just prepare the following topics.
1.Time and work
2.Profit loss discount
3.Time and distance
4.Percentages
5.Simple Interest
After the completion of the test they asked us to assemble at a hall they annouced the results in 15 min. I cleared it.
They conducted second round in a span of 10 min which is a english assessment.
IBM English assessment test procedure
It comprises of 22 questions you have to attempt it in a span of 20 min. It is also an objective test and there is no timer for each question as in the 1st round.
It includes very simple and basic questions of grammar and questions based on business writings. Don't get confused and answer it confidently.
After completion of second round they announced the result within 5 min. I have done it.
Then they announced the shortlisted students to attend the interview on 30th jan and asked us to carry all the documents to the interview.
On the day of interviews they asked us to assemble at a hall where pre placement talk conducted.
IBM Interview(Tech+Hr)
Final round starts they call on each one for the interview.
It was my turn,I entered the room and wished him. He offered a seat smiling at me.
He asked me only HR questons like
1.Tell me about Yourself
2.Why IBM
and 2 more questions from resume.
Just be cool and confident and give your best.Elimination is very less in this round.
Then the final moment.... everyone waiting for their results.
After 30 min they announced the results.
Yuppiieeeee..3rd name was mine.
THANK GOD!! By GOD grace,blessings of my parents and dear ones I got placed in IBM.Now I can say'Iam an IBMer'.
30 jan 2014 is the most memorable day in my life.
