I am M.Gayathri..graduated from KSRMCE,Kadapa in the stream of Electronics...2012 passout.....
IBM conducted referral off campus at CMR group of Institutions,Hyd on 10 and 11 sept 2012....total 200 got selected out of 2000+ students....
IBM Written Test -1 Day
1.On line written test
Totally 36 questions....18 questions on number series.... I felt it somewhat tough...18 questions on aptitude.... it was pretty easy... if you are good at calculations. then you can easily evaluate the questions in given time.... each questions needs to be answered in 2 1/4 min....
2.English Summary writing
The short listed candidates in 1st round appeared for it...we were given a passage related to IBM's Project n we were asked to write a business reply to the client about the project in 5-6 lines.... here concentrate on the main content.....like I started it with ... this is regarding the IBM's Project....
3.GD
Each group had 12 members.... topic was given in the spot... we were given 5 min to think about it... topic was "print media VS Broadcast media"... 10 got thru out of 12...
Day 2-
Technical & HR
My HR lasted for 40 min... but it was cool....
1.Tell me about yourself..
2.You qualified gate..you did you write it??
3. What were the challenges you faced in your ?
4.Any moment where you felt that I should have done that..but couldnt do so...
5.Some1 has stolen your wallet you have to attend the off campus at CMR which is faraway from your place.. what will you do?
6.You rare organizing a tour and you should take only 25 classmates out of 70 with you ... how will convince others...
7.Asked questions about my project and paper presentations.....
8.Other than kadapa have you gone to any other places? if so what difference you found between those places?
9.You mentioned you were a volunteer for your college fest... how you managed those events?
10.Define commitment... in the same way.. he asked some other questions....
I was smiling all the time and gave confident answers....
finally the results are out....
and I got selected... feeling so happy....
hard work is the key to success... :)
