                            The Engineers India Limited (EIL) Exam Pattern

                                            The Engineers India Limited (EIL) conducts the entrance exam for the recruitment of eligible candidates in the post of Management Trainee every year. The Engineers India Limited is a government of India Undertaking which is headquartered at New Delhi. Eligibility for Exam:The applicants for the exam must be having full time engineering degree in either of the following: Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology/ Bachelor of Science (Engineering) from any recognized university/ college of India.

Duration of Exam: two hours

Exam Pattern:There will be an objective type written test divided into main sections on the topics as given below:

Section I: Technical Questions (100 Questions) Based on the syllabus of the qualifying degree exam
Section II: General Aptitude Section (50 Questions)

* Quantitative Aptitude
* General Awareness
* Reasoning and
* English Language

Marking Scheme:The candidates will be given one mark for every correct answer marked by them whereas there will be a deduction of one- fourth marks for every wrong answers marked by them Hence, the candidates should try to attempt the maximum number of questions for scoring more in the exam.

Qualifying Criteria:The candidates should score the maximum marks in the written exam in order to be called in the next round of selection i.e. Interview. The candidates will be informed about the interview through the official website of EIL and through personal correspondence as decided by the company for this purpose.
