  • Delhi govt notifies Motor Vehicles Act. The Kejriwal led government becomes the eighth state in the country to adopt the law. The move will allow the traffic police cops to issue spot fines on violation of the norms.
  • NCLAT to have a bench at Chennai. A bench of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) is being constituted in Chennai to handle matters arising from Southern states- Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Lakshadweep, and Puducherry, the notification said.

  • Viktor Axelsen wins All England men’s singles title. Viktor Axelsen got the better of Chou Tien Chen of 21-13, 21-14 to win the title. The 26-year-old second seed, the first Danish man to win the prestigious tournament since Peter Gade in 1999.
