• Bharat Parv 2020 to be celebrated from 26th to 31st January. The Central theme of this year’s Bharat Parv is ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ and ‘Celebrating 150 Years of Mahatma Gandhi’.
• Rajasthan Assembly passes resolution against CAA. The House also asked the Centre to withdraw the new fields of information which have been sought for updating the National Population Register (NPR) 2020.

• Debashish Panda nominated to SBI Central Board. He is appointed with immediate effect replacing the earlier nominee Ravi Mittal, according to a bank filing
