I cleared my written test for Cognizant held in Sharda University. This is my interview experience held on 8th Feb, 2011. I attended Cognizant interview on 8th Feb, 2011 in Sharda University.
First there was extempore round and our topic was -the things you are afraid of?
Everone has to speak for 1 minute. On basis of this round this round there was shortlisting of candidates for technical interview round.
I cleared this round and went for technical round questions that were asked
1. Number and string palindrome program
2. Swapping thru pointers
3. C++ concepts
4. Diff between C++ and C
5. I have made two projects, I was asked to explain them and to write their connection code
6. Why I want to join Cognizant
7. My strength and weakness
8. Networks basics like what is ip address and what for each field stands for?
9. Operating system basics like deadlock, paging and segmentation
Luckily I cleared this round too
Then there was HR round. Qeustions are as follows
1. Tell me about urself?
2. If you become PM or CM, what will you do?
3. You have to sell a mobile phone. How will you sell it?
