In this section I would like to share with you my experience in the CTS (Cognizant) campus interview. First of I cleared CTS aptitude test and I was shortlisted. Total of 92 from our college 30 were shortlisted in that  was there.

For aptitude they asked in 2 section.

Anlytical (30)
Reasoning (25)

Both section were covered in testing your skills in english.

 

Next day on Sunday we went for the HR round in this they look for soft and technical skills. I was waiting outside the cabin for my turn. My name was called.
 
 
Me: Excuse me. Please my I get in Sir.
HR: Sir Naveed come in.
 
He was buzy in writing something about my details, so I didn't wish him, as to not disturb him.
 
HR: Intoduce yourself.
Then I reailized I had not wished him.
 
Me: First of all Good Morning, Sir.
HR: What?
 
Me: Good morning, Sir.
HR: Yes, Good morning

Me: Myself Naveed Ahmed. I am currently doing my B.Tech under stream of computer science and engineering.
 
 
I mentioned that I had done my schooling in Kerala to divert him toward that area. But he didn't get divert.
 
Next he asked
 
HR: What is Your area of Inetrest.
Me: OOAD and DBMS.
 
Then he started asking queries in dbms some of there were easy and one of them was tough for me.
 
Later I managed and answered all the queries.
 
Some othe questions which he asked.
 
* What is Primary Key and foriegn key?
 
* What's difference between black box and white box testing?
 
* What 2nd normal form?
 
* What are the types of SDLC?
 
While I was answering I took sometime to think and then answered to his question.
 
I never answered him indirectly. I answered him in short and point to point. When he don't get me I used to repeat the answer once more.
 
For my every answer he said acha and yeah.
