Hi Friends,
This is Kanchan kumar singh. I attended CTS off-campus drive held on 25/9/10 in Kolkata. The pattern was totally different, there was verbal-25 analytical-30. There was no any single question from maths section. So friends there is no need to seprate preparation for CTS aptitute test. This test only check your analytical skill and some gramatical portion of english. Most important thing is time how can you manage time this is very important for you. So friends keep confidence and don't waste time in lengthy and time consuming questions. There was no negative marking and no sectional cutoff.
Friends this was online test and first section was analytical and 2nd was verbal.
Analytical part:
1-5 Data interpretation(Do it last)
6-10 Logic eg. Dinesh spends money if his father gives him money suggestion.
a) Dinesh spends money
b) Dinesh not spends money
c) His father gives money
d) His father dint give money
Options are
1. ac & ca
2. bd & db
3. bd
4. ca
Ans bd
11-15 Decoding and coding with alphabets(very easy)
15-20 Missing figures and next figures(very easy)
20-25 Filling the numbers in the 3x3 matrix they will give some conditions(easy)
25-30 Syllogism and data sufficiency(easy)
First section an average student can do atleast 25 questions correctly.
The next section is verbal ability
35-40 jumbled sentences(very easy)
41-48 reading comprehension(do it in last)
49-55 find the correct and incorrect sentences(not easy but u can do 2 or 3 question easily)
My result was declared on 29th Sept and i was selected for next round. Wish me best of luck my interview will held on 7th Oct in Kolkata.
