                                  CISF Constable (GD) Recruitment Exam Pattern

                                                          The CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) every year recruits eligible candidates in the post of Constable (GD) through written exam, Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test respectively. The candidates eligible for the concerned post can apply in the concerned exam through SSC (Staff Selection Commission). Those who wish to appear and prepare in the concerned exam must go through the detailed paper pattern and examination scheme from the information as given here below.

Exam Pattern:

There will be three rounds of examinations based on the performances of the candidates on the following:

1. Written Exam
2. Physical Efficiency Test
3. Physical Standard Test and
4. Medical Examination

Paper Pattern for Written exam:

The written exam for the CISF Constable Recruitment shall consist of objective type multiple choice questions on the following:
Total Number of Questions: 100 (25 questions for each Part)
Total Marks Allotted: 100
Duration of Exam: 2 Hours

Part A: General Intelligence and Reasoning
Part B: General Knowledge and General Awareness
Part C: Elementary Mathematics and
Part D: English/ Hindi

Paper Pattern for PST (Physical Standard Test):

The Physical Standard Test is conducted to judge the following for the post of Constable (GD):

Height: Males- 170 cms; Females- 157 cms
Chest: Males- 80 cms; Expanded: Minimum expansion of 5 cms
Weight: Males and Females: proportionate to height

Paper Pattern for Physical Efficiency Test:

The Physical Efficiency Test will consist of the examination of the following:
For Male Candidates:

Long Jump: 11 Feet
High Jump: 3 and ½ Feet
For Female Candidates:
Long Jump: 9 Feet
High Jump: 3 Feet

The applicants shall be given a maximum of three chances in the concerned examinations.The Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test shall be compulsory to qualify for all the applicants but it does not carry any marks in the exam.Lastly, the candidates will be required to pass the medical examination in order to get finally selected in the concerned recruitment exam.
