Hi frnds, this is Suhas Shetty H from Bangalore Institute Of Technology... I would lik to share my experience of getting through CAPGEMINI campus interview.. I was ZERO percent prepared for the interview, don belive i was not in formals, i dint hav my resume with me, not even a photo of mine.. BUT had just gone through the capgemini previous years question papers and der lies the SECRET for getting through the written round of this company..
Coming to the rounds carried out by CAPGEMINI:
1.Aptitude Test
2.Group Discussion
3.Technical Round
4.HR
 The aptitude test was not so hard but instead of that approx 250 candidates were eliminated in the aptitude test. Max Questions came from the previous years set,given in the site.But some were newTry to solve  the questions and dont copy paste the answers given over here as all the answers r not right here..What ever, there were 25 questions in quants section and 25 were 4m reasoning section.There were 2 sets of questions in the test. So be cool and rough work is mandatory in the answersheet. 10 was the cut off in each section. I attempted 14 questions in quants and in reasoning among 25 each. The best part, i was the highest with 34 marks in aptitude.
Few questions i remember wch i got wer as follows:
QUANT SECTION:
1.Fresh Grapes contain 90% water by wt. Dried grapes contain 20% water by %age. What will b wt of dried grapes when we begin with 20 kg fresh grapes?

VERBAL SECTION:
 An employee has to allocate offices to 6 staff members. The offices are no. 1-6. the offices are arranged in a row and they are separated from each other by dividers>hence voices, sounds and cigarette smoke flow easily from one office to another

Miss R needs to use the telephone quite often throughout the day. Mr. M and Mr. B need adjacent offices as they need to consult each other often while working. Miss H is a senior employee and his to be allotted the office no. 5, having the biggest window.


Mr. D requires silence in office next to his. Mr. T, Mr. M and Mr. D are all smokers. Miss H finds tobacco smoke allergic and consecutively the offices next to hers are occupied by non-smokers. Unless specifically stated all the employees maintain an atmosphere of silence during office hrs.

My Name was called out in the selected list...

    
                  The next round was GD and as i said i wasnt prepared for anything, instead of getting prepared fr GD i went to get my RESUME, PHOTO etc etc...... By the time i came back my group was called fr GD, i rushed inside thank god topic wasnt given and i was asked to take my seat....
TOPIC: SHOULD WOMEN B GIVEN 33% RESERVATION?????
              I initiated the discussion wen evryone else wer busy writing down points in the sheet wch was provided...
This actually helped me a lot as i gt many points to put forth.... I was against the reservation given for women.... Finaly they asked to leave after one of my frnd concluded....

Result announced on 21st JUNE 4:30
They selected 28 students out of 35 For the TECHNICAL/HR
My Name was called out in the selected list....

               Next was the TEC wch went bad for me, students u got u knw the clear cut concepts of:
               i.C
               ii.C++ and
               iii.Final year project wch u hav done.....
these wer the questions wch i was asked in tec round....
              Next was the HR wch i did with lots of confidence and straight forwardness... i was y capgemini??
tell me abt ur self?? and most important thing was abt my conti decrease in % frm 1st to 6th sem... tat was all in HR...
FINALLY:
FINAL Reault was anunced on 21st JUNE 8:30
They selected 21 students out of 28 for CAPGEMINI
MY NAME WAS CALLED OUT AS THE 21ST NAME SUHAS SHETTY.....
It was my day and i made it......
