BEML Exam Pattern
Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) is the public sector undertaking that manufactures Rail Coaches and Spare Parts to be used in the following sectors- Mining & Construction, Defence and Rail & Metro respectively. Established in the year 1964, the company owns 54 percent as the government stake and rest 46 percent held by the FIIs, Banks and other stakeholders. The company every year announces recruitment from all the eligible candidates in the following main job profiles: Engineer Trainees, Manager, Assistant Manager and Officers respectively. The candidates are selected through a written test and interview which is held on the dates as specified for this purpose.Given below are the details of exam including technical exam and aptitude test paper pattern, marking scheme and the manner of questions asked in it.
Exam Pattern for BEML: There will be two papers conducted in the recruitment exam for BEML namely âTechnical (Electrical) and General Awareness/ Aptitude Tests respectively.
Number of Questions:
Technical Exam: 100 Questions
General Awareness and Aptitude Test: 50 Questions
Time of Exam: 120 Minutes
Eligibility for Exam: The candidates should have completed their Graduation in Engineering in the concerned discipline for the post of Assistant Engineer. For the post of Diploma in Testing Technician and Commissioning, the candidates should have a Diploma in the concerned field and ITI course for the post of ITI Technician Testing and Commissioning for the respective posts.All the applicants must be aged between 22 to 30 years respectively for being selected for the given posts.
Syllabus of Exam:
Technical Paper: Networks, Induction Motor, Fourier Transform, Full Wave and Half Wave Rectifier, Power System, Transformers, DC Machine, Dedresing Modes and Decimal to Binary Conversions etc
General Awareness and Aptitude Test: General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Questions on Ages, Profit and Loss Question, English and Vocabulary based questions .
