Accenture placement process consists of 4 rounds.
1). Written Test(with an essay)
2). Pre-placement Talk.
3). Group Discussion
4). i) HR/Technical interview
ii) HR/Technical interview
After a long wait of 6 hours we faced the written examination. The written paper had all total 55 questions which is divided in three sections. There
were two sets, in both the sets the questions were same but the order was different. The paper comprised of
1. aptitude section
2. reasoning section, and the last section was the
3. verbal ability (General English).
There was no negative marking, but the main thing was the time management. I attempted almost all the questions and also made some blind guesses also. Overall 23 colleges were invited and around 4500 students participated in the written examination.
At the end of objective type test we were told to write an essay. The topic for essay was told on the spot and was "IMPACT OF IT IN INDIA."
Finally on 16 August, 2007 we got the result and I was on of the lucky candidates out of 413 who were able to clear the written examination. A total of 413 students were able to clear the written examination and are called for GD and personal interview on 25 and 26 August 2007.So, for GD I reached there on 25 August 2007 at 10 in the morning. And after a long wait, our group was called for the GD. There were 12 members in the group and the topic was: "MAHATMA GANDHI'S PRINCIPLE OF NON-VIOLENCE IS APPLICABLE IN TODAY'S WORLD OR NOT". The GD went on; I made 3-4 relevant points in the GD and finally at last the panel member told all of us to conclude the topic one by one. And just after the GD the results were announced; all total of 6 members were selected and I was one of them. The selected students were told to wait in the seminar hall for
personal interview.
Out of 413 students only 138 cleared the GD round. Waiting since 3:30 I called for the interview at around 8:00 PM. That was basically the technical interview and he asked only about my project. He asked rest all HR questions-- like:
1. Tell me about yourself?
2. Why should I hire you?
3. Why accenture ?
4. Reason for having year gap?
5. What is the difference between B. Tech and B.E.? etc. etc.........
Then I came out and I was told to wait outside for results.... After 2 minutes a person came and told me that I was selected in this interview and I have to come in the morning on the next day at 8:30 AM for my second interview. I was quite happy and was not able to sleep whole night as I was tensed for the next interview. Finally on the next day, I reached there at 8:00 AM and the interview started sharply at 8:45 AM. I was called for the interview at 9:45 AM.
That was purely HR interview.
How my members are there in my family?
