I would like to share my experience with you ...I had Accenture thro Anna Univ State Level Placement Program..The criteria was 77% with no backlogs.Totally 991 students attended it..The selection procedure was
ROUND 1
First we had GROUP DISCUSSION ---
The topic was "Education Vs Professionalism" .
We were divided into batches.Each batch had 30 ppl.The time given was 12 mins.
The main thing here is we should speak boldly and they expect valid points and good communication skill..Also we must be a good team player nd motivate others too..Dont speak more in GD.As the group has many ppl they see whether we give chance for others to speak.So be careful.Also see to it that u contribute your point at the right time..If the group is goin to be a large one u might face the problem of many students speakin at the same time.So take ur chance soon and also if still any1 continues wid u to speak allow them to continue.Maximum of 8 were selected from this 30 and a minimum of 2.
ROUND 2
Second round is the written test..It had VERBAL,GENERAL APS,REASONING..Its enough to refer al the previous question papers posted in freshers world.In this we had
Verbal(30 mins) -- Synonyms,Articles,Prepositions, 2 Comprehension questions..
All the above are easy nd just tested the basics.Only one comprehension was little difficult to understand as it had lot of technical terms.But can understand if you read it twice.
Analytical (20 mins-20 qns)-- Venn diagrams (total 12.6 opted maths,4 opted hindi.so nd so...similar qns totally 5) , 1 calender sum, blood relations, person arrangement(5 persons A,b,C,D,E.. B is sitting in the middle.. A is two position ahead of B as D is too C..Something like this..I had not given the exact qn guys..its a model..then values were given for those letters..then few qns askd.simple calculations by interchanging their positions based on conditions.)
Reasoning (30mins) -- Like alike qns(refer prev qn papers),symbol replacement sums,some conditions were given and few qns were asked from that..
One ESSAY..The topic was given at the last..Duration 10mins..Topic given to me was EDUCATION SYSTEM IN INDIA..Just plan for 2mins nd then start writing..There must be a clear flow in ur points nd the language must be good.Try to present it neatly.Just a 100 word essay..
TIME MANAGEMENT IS ESSENTIAL..SO PLZ DO THE COMPREHENSION AND OTHER DIFFICULT QNS AT LAST.
ALSO THERE IS NO NEGATIVE MARKINGS.SO ATTEND ALL THE QNS..EVEN IF U DONT KNOW MARK IT IN A FLUKE..AS IT IS OMR IF U HAD NOT MARKED A SECTION COMPLETELY THERE MAY BE A CHANCE OF REJECTING THE PAPER.SO ATTEND ALL THE SECTIONS WITHOUT FAIL..
ROUND 3
HR round....There were 3 panels and basic Hr qns were askd..My Hr was the person who judged us in my GD batch..
She asked me to explain my family background,project..My area of interest is OOPS and C.i had done my project in Java.She askd me the reason.I told her.Then askd me whether i could work anywhere in India..Ask me some Global MNC names,ppl who contribute to IT a lot,abt my hobbies.
Frnds be thorough wid ur resume nd here they expect only the good communication skill and
boldness wid the positive attitude.
ROUND 4
This is the final round.TECHNICAL HR..Only one person was interviewing.And as the time was running out it was divided into 2 batches.Some were sent to telephonic interview.Thank God I was in the direct interview.
Frnds plz be familiar to al the basic concepts of ur dept papers..As 'm a CSE student I was askd qns from Testing,Data Structures,Compiler Design.Also had a problem from Probability..Just had only 1 qn from C..Frnds my area of interest s C nd OOPS.But they dont concentrate on that alone.
Some of the other candidates were askd in DBMS,Networks,etc..Also other dept candidates were tested in their dept papers..Evry1 had a puzzle or some maths question to solve.
Just be Bold and confident while answering nd in the mind to tackle ant situation as they may give a stress interview in the middle..I had gone thro this stress interview too..
Finally the results were announced...991 appeared for GD..From that 250 were shortlisted for Written test..Then 60 for HR..few were rejected in HR..Finally 30 were selected..And in GOD's Grace the prayers of m y parents nd frnds came true..I was one among the selected ppl..Thank God..
Its enough to be thorough wid the basics for the written test nd if needed refer R.S.Aggarwal..Should have a good communication skill..Always hav a mind to tackle all the qns in Hr rounds even if u dono...Express boldly in polite manner.Dont leave any question unmarked in written..The written test paper was prepared by MERIT TRAC.
Friends never leave hope even if you dont get thro..Give ur best and leave the rest to god..Let him decide..I had attended 9 companies nd finally Accenture is my 10th company..Its the experience of al those 9 dat I attended made me to improve myself..Alwys take evrythng in positive way my dear frnds cz its the positive hope that makes u to get succeed..Even if u lose an opportunity learn from it..That will make you to do better in the next one..Take it as an experience..Alwys hope for the best nd never expect..If smethng s missed never lose ur hope cz u may get smethng better than the one u missed...Pray well..Not only confidence nd har5d work pays..Prayers are needed to get luck..So frnds hav the hope in u nd be positive...Hope the things i had shared will be useful atleast to a percent..ALL THE BEST FOR UR SUCCESSFUL CAREER..
