Candidate-Experiences
Hello friends,
I got selected on September 18 of 2010 This was my first interview and had my best experience.
I would like to share here few tips to get into Accenture, that would like to say that Accenture is an awesome company very good start for a fresher.
I just preapred for 5 days and i was in.
There are 4 rounds.
1) Aptitude: 55 questions 60 minutes
1-5 (fill in the blanks) 6-10(synonyms) 11-20(passage) 21-40(aptitude) 41-55(logical). Learn just the basics R.S Aggarwal is the best book to refer, learn venn problems more. We had around 7 questions on this. Paper is very very easy. Those who got above 35 were selected Do logical first its very easy. Passage do at last. We were given to write one essay at last(The political system of India) this is not important. They don't even see it. In my room there were around 250 students. 22 were selected
2) GD round:
Here we were 15 of us. We werre asked to choose each a topic, then HR selected. Nature Vs Technology.
Here only way to crack this is to speak boldly be very confident. Even ppl who spoke were removed, so it is all bout how you carry yourself, your expression, and how well you can defend others. only 6 were selected.
3 Technical. We were callled for technical and HR on the next day be good in concepts, they can ask anything, oops, data structures, Java are very important. Many were eliminated Here 4 HR this is just a formal round he was very friendly and very good looking. The moment i entered he started praising my looks. I was shocked, we spoke for around 20mns. It was a great experience.
I finished my interview by 11am in the moring. We were asked to wait. Got the results by 5 evening Felt like in heaven. It's an awesome feeling feels great thanks to my parents and ya the only GOD. The whole process had around 3 batches of 250 students each was in the morning batch. At last, from 800 students, around 65 wee selected.
Advice: Never put your Visa details in resume. I had us Visa and the created lot of problems. They are not interest in Cadidates who want a transfer Abroad. I had to loose this job, but Gods grace I was able to convince them. So please don't put Visa details and just say yes for any reallocations. When they ask.
All the best, beleive in yourself and God
