Infosys Interview Experience

My name is Pallavi singh. I am writing my Interview Experience here. I am attended the Infosys Interview held at " 3rd September 14 in SGSITS, Indore ". The Interview duration is about 10-15 minutes. The questions asked to me are :

  1) What exactly power electronics is? (My Specialization was in power electronics and the interviewer       was actually unaware about what exactly it is!..that's why asked this question )

  2) Tell me what pallavi exactly is?

  3) Why did you go for ME rather than joining any company?

  4) Why did you appeared for gate again?

  5) Tell me about any challenging situation which you think was one of the most toughest situation of         your life and how did you tackled it? What main decisions did you take?

  6)  If you're at our some foreign location say New york where you have to design total 5-6 elevators at        a multi storey building say a mall whose ceo's office is at the top floor. What design considerations        will you take?

  7) What is IT from your point of view?

  8) How do you rate yourself in terms of programming on a scale of 1 to 10?
