Candidate-Experiences

Hello friends,
I am Richa Saraswat from DDU, Nadiad. . Tech Mahindra came as off campus at vasad. At 11 am they started their p.p.t. It was really very nice. Around 12.30 they started their aptitude test. There were 6 links, those consists of 6 different parts .There were 100 questions in all. The best part was no negative marking.
The sections included:
Quantitative
Logical Reasoning
Maths
English-1(synonyms, antonyms, sentence formation, blanks)
English -2(comprehension)
English-3(odd one out, and questions like if rome is to italy then and u'l hv four options.

Maths portion generally consist of simple interest, compound interest, patnership, series. For this R.S.Agrawal is sufficient.
For english also basic knowledge is sufficient. The most important part for the aptitude round is managing the time. As thier cut off is high.

Within fifteen min we got the result and i was through.
Next day had a technical interview and HR. For technical i will suggest you to prepare your resume well especially the projects and also basic details about your core subjects(though i wasnt asked anything except the projects). The important thing they check is your confidence level. Apart from this do have a bit of knowledge about current happenings around esp those related to your hobbies. This will prove an added advantage for you as they do mark you on general awareness too. Btw in technical too  i was asked about my family background and other HR related things.. After technical interview i had an HR which was a cake walk i can say. There were four people taken together and then we were asked as:
Introduce yourself..
Tell me whether sports inbuilts discipline or aggression in a person
How will you incorporate discipline in a team of players from punjab ?
etc. etc.

Some of my friends had a GD in HR round. Just be calm and think before you say.
After 4 hours we had our result and i was selected. One of the best days of my life...
Hope to see you in TM..............
Best of luck to all aspirants................
