- India's 1st Aadhaar authenticated farmers' database to be launched in June. This will be used as a master database for implementing any farmer-related government schemes. The database will be a consolidation of all kinds of genuine lists of farmers available with the government.
- Centre gives in-principle nod to Doon-Delhi elevated expressway. An elevated expressway between Dehradun and New Delhi will reduce the distance between the two cities to 180 kms.
- Public libraries in Karnataka to go digital. Karnataka will roll out digital librariesas the government has successfully transformed its legacy public libraries into digital powerhouse of knowledge and e-learning.
ECONOMY
- Tech Mahindra to acquire US-based Zen3 Infosolutions for $64mn. Zen3 Infosolutions has expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, annotations, cloud engineering etc which are high growth areas.
