TCS PAPER ON 24th JANUARY AT MATHURA
hi everyone this is amit from agra. i want to share my experience of TCS, but first of all i want to say thanx to GOD . TCS came to my college h.c.s.t mathura on 24th of january 2008.Around 390 student appeared for the online apptitude test, out of which around 240 student cleared the apptitude test and finally 66 students were selected and thank god i was one of them.
there were 4 rounds
AS usually online apti had contained 32 verbal questions,38 quantitative question,and 3 question of analytical reasoning. i think if you do well in quanti and in critical reasoning than easily you can clear the aptitude.for quanti just solve the last year papers as they only changes the value but questions are same. for analytical reasoning just mug-up the options of all analytical question paragraph's from GRE 12th edition, because they might be very tough to solve there, if you do this than you don't need to be worried about verbal reasoning ,as my personal experience says IF you are not good in english so will be very difficult to think about selection with concentrating more on english for TCS.
SO JUST QUANTI AND ANALYTICAL IS MORE THAN ENOUGH TO CLEAR APTITUDE.
IN the technical interview they will judge your confidence and knowledge so be prepared with subject like software engineering, dbms,da,datastruture,os.just clear all the fundas of those subject. Prepare your project very well because the will definatly ask question from your project and have some practice of c language program such as swapping,factorial,Fibonacci series,multiplication of matrices,string reverse,tingles and more. if you don't know the answer than immediately say no.
IN hr and mr they check your communication level and your working capabilities in stressed condition. it will be beneficial if you have already given the mock interview.
so have faith on your self and in GOD ,do your work and leave rest on god ,hope you will be selected.
