L n T Infotech Candidate-Experiences
Hi Everyone,
I have attended open campus drive conducted by L&T Infotech, Bangalore centre.The process was of 2 days, 23-24 October 2010. I gave my test on 23th Oct about 6-8 thousand jobseekers were there on that day. L&T has arranged all the possible things to make us comfortable. There was seating arrangement for all of us. There was proper management for examination. Firstly about 1k students gave exam. All candidates were escorted to there respective room in managed line, one by one.
Firstly answer sheets were distributed and there after paper. There were 90 questions to be done in 90 minutes paper contains three sections:
1) Aptitude (30 questions)
2) Reasoning (30 questions)
3) English (30 question)
You have to concentrate on all the sections. All you have to do is to be quick. There was no -ve marking time management pays important role. Result of written test was intimated via Email next round was GD. About 600-650 students were selected out off 12k+ students.
In GD they divided students into a group of 12. They give the topic and a minute to think on that. After that GD starts. Here your communication skills play an important role. Try to speak something new and supportive to your point to clear the GD.
About 60% students cleared the GD round. Next day was technical+HR round. My interviewer was good man. He started with a question
I: Tell me about yourself?
Me: Told.
I: Whats your favorite subject?
Me:told.
I: Second favorite?
Me: Told.
I: Third?
Me: Told, he asked questions related to that.
He then asked about things which i have written in HR form. He then returned back to my major project. He asked various confusing questions related to it. Study your project well. He was trying to stress me out with questions, but i answered all.
He then asked about minor project and use.
He then asked various questions related to my branch subject.
Last question: Do you want to ask something?
You should ask at least sumthing. About policies, profile anything.
After about 1hr 45 mins results were out. I got selected and offer letter was handed over to me thereafter. I was very happy since have proved myself in open campus rather than closed campus. It was my first offer letter and that too of such a good company. About 120+ students got selected. All together it was good recruitment drive conducted by L&T Infotech, as expected.
