  • First political slogan copyright case as Prashant Kishor booked for plagiarism. Shashwat Gautam, a former national coordinator in the Congress Party’s data analytics department during the Lok Sabha elections, has accused ace political strategist Prashant Kishor of stealing a campaign slogan, logo and data he had created for the Bihar assembly elections expected later this year.
  • Arjun Munda Launches ‘Capacity Building Programme for Scheduled Tribe Pri Representatives’ in Bhubneshwar. He also launched “1000 Spring Initiatives” and an online portal on GIS-based Spring Atlas with hydrological and chemical properties of the Springs.

  • Tunisia’s parliament approves a coalition government. Elyes Fakhfakh, who was designated prime minister last month by President Kais Saied, has brought parties from across the political spectrum into his cabinet.

  • Mobility company redBus launches car, bike pooling service in Delhi. The service, which was first launched in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune, caters exclusively to professionals and keeps commercial operators out.

 

ENVIRONMENT

  • Scientists discover animal that doesn't survive on oxygen. Until the new discovery, there was debate regarding the possibility that organisms belonging to the animal kingdom could survive in anaerobic environments.
